Semiconductor photocatalytic technology demonstrates strong potential as a solution to defend environmental systems while converting energy. The behavior of traditional ZrO2 catalysts suffers major disadvantage because their activity remains low in visible light applications. XRD together with SEM, well EDX and EIS techniques, were utilized evaluate the synthetic materials. This study demonstrated that development RGO-modified heterostructures delivered substantial increases functionality through effective photogenerated charge separation mechanisms. Tests showed RGO/ZrO2 exhibited outstanding led an 80% MB breakdown 120 min exceeding electrocatalytic parameters multiple tests. experimental data from UV–vis spectroscopy combined electrochemical analysis radical trapping methods heterostructure improvement resulted higher absorption rates active site exposure providing better electron/hole pair separation. research establishes S-scheme enable advancements protection alongside energy conversion technologies.

Abstract In this paper, different magnitudes of axial precompression stress were applied to the ZrO₂(5Y) specimens, and then heating thermal shock experiments carried out at initial temperatures same target temperature 2000°C. The effect on resistance ceramic materials under aforementioned environment was studied systemically. test results showed that, compared with stress‐free state, 20 MPa improves while 40 reduces it, reason mechanism explained. And evolution difference also analyzed. This study provides valuable recommendations for improving stability reliability ceramics environment. addition, failure source crack propagation path observed fracture surfaces specimen after from room 2000°C, which has not been reported before.
