Simple Synthesis of Novel Cr-EDTA-MOF: A Green, Reusable, and Versatile Catalyst for the Production of Biodiesel Fuel from Oleic Acid and Palmitic Acid

Herein,
we
reported
an
efficient
and
novel
metal–organic
framework
(MOF)
that
was
designed
fabricated
via
hydrothermal
reaction
of
chromium(III)
nitrate
nonahydrate
salt
with
EDTA
as
organic
ligand.
The
prepared
MOF
investigated
by
PXRD,
BET,
SEM,
EDS,
FT-IR,
X-ray
mapping
techniques.
N2
adsorption–desorption
isotherms
indicated
excellent
BET
surface
area
for
Cr-EDTA-MOF,
which
is
234.55
m2/g.
Cr-EDTA-MOF
exhibits
potential
performance
the
esterification
oleic
palmitic
acids
under
gentle
conditions.
Furthermore,
this
nanostructure
material
afforded
several
benefits,
including
product
yields,
stability,
easy
methodology,
workup,
greener
situations.
heterogeneous
nanocatalyst
(Cr-EDTA-MOF)
could
be
easily
recovered
from
mixture
centrifugation
reused
four
consecutive
runs
a
minimum
loss
catalytic
activity.

Abstract
Herein,
we
report

synthesis
of
ZnFe

O
4
@SiO
@L-lysine@SO
3
H
as
a
green,
novel
magnetic
nanocatalyst,
containing
sulfuric
acid
catalytic
sites
on
surface
zinc
ferrite
support.
The
physical
and
chemical
properties
raw
modified
samples
(ZnFe
H)
were
characterized
by
TGA,
EDX,
PXRD,
Map,
FTIR
analyses.
prepared
nanocatalyst
has
excellent
activity
in
synthesizing
oxidation
sulfides
to
sulfoxides
Synthesis
pyrazolyl
(Bis(pyrazolyl)methane)
derivatives
under
green
conditions.
This
designed
offers
several
advantages
including
use
inexpensive
materials
high
yield,
simple
procedure,
commercially
available.
synthesized
mesoporous
was
recovered
reused
five
continuous
cycles
without
considerable
change
its
activity.
