Neuropathic pain, a chronic condition with high incidence, imposes psychological burdens on both patients and society. It is urgent to improve pain management develop new analgesic drugs. Traditional Chinese medicine has gained popularity as method for relief. Diosmetin (Dio) mainly found in herbal medicines effective antioxidant, anti-cancer, anti-inflammatory properties. There are few known mechanisms underlying the effectiveness of Dio treating neuropathic pain. However, complete understanding its therapeutic effect missing.

Alcoholic liver disease (ALD) is a injury caused by chronic or binge alcohol consumption. Jiubanban (JBB) 10-edible-herb- formula. The current study investigated the protective effects and mechanisms of JBB against alcoholic injury. results showed that significantly alleviated chronic-binge accelerated ethanol metabolism had effect on both acute By modulating NFκB, KEAP1, HIF1 pathways, was shown to reduce production cytokines (IL-6 TNFα), enhanced activity anti-oxidative enzymes (SOD GSH-px), reduced associated products (ROS MDA), reversing inflammation, oxidative stress, apoptosis. findings suggest this functional herbal food combination may be risk-free therapeutic strategy for treating ALD.

Abstract Background White standard Dendranthema grandiflorum ( D. ) is widely used for ornamental purposes. The volatile organic components (VOCs) of vary depending on the geographical origin and cultivar, which influence market value. Here, we applied headspace extraction coupled with gas chromatography–mass spectrometry (HS–GC–MS) first time to determine different origins (Korea, China, Vietnam) in three genotypes (Baekgang, Jinba, Iwa-no-hakusen) based fingerprints assess correlation among metabolites identified Korean non-Korean . Results A total 41 VOCs, mainly monoterpenoids, sesquiterpenoids, alcohols, fatty acids, were identified. Principal component analysis showed that instead origin, genotype influences fingerprints. Cultivar discrimination was affected by associated alpha-terpinyl cation pathway. orthogonal partial least squares discriminant model achieved 100% 93.3% accuracies calibration validation sets, respectively. results volcano plots clustering analysis, sesquiterpenoids significantly more abundant than Korean, whereas monoterpenoids samples. Conclusions makers confirmed robustness maintenance over two years. These findings can be useful reliably identifying providing a comprehensive understanding VOCs cultivars grown countries origins.
