This study introduces a biomimetic approach to 3D printing multilayered hierarchical porous membranes (MHMs) using Direct Ink Writing (DIW) technology. Fabricated through fast layer-by-layer process with varying concentrations of pore-forming agents, the produced MHMs mimic pore structure and filtration capabilities natural soil systems. As result, 3D-printed achieved an impressive oil rejection rate 99.02% demonstrated exceptional reusability, maintaining flux recovery ratio 99.48% even after hours continuous filtration. Moreover, exhibit superior architecture mechanical integrity compared traditional flat sheet single-layered membranes. presents significant advancement for scalable customized multilayer tailored porosity high-performance properties. The simplicity, versatility, cost-effectiveness presented manufacturing method offer pathway advanced design on-demand membrane production.
