ABSTRACT In our research, we have introduced an innovative approach to preparing a composite material for tungsten diselenide (WSe 2 ) with polyvinyl pyrrolidone (PVP), demonstrating improvement in the performance of electrochemical applications. The interaction between WSe and PVP serves multiple functions, such as acting surface stabilizer, reducing agent, dispersant nanoparticles, growth modifier. This significantly enhances electrolyte penetration improves efficiency devices like supercapacitors. Our investigation unveils simple yet effective hydrothermal method synthesizing bare @PVP composite. technique leads formation broad bean‐shaped nanoflakes, which are evenly combined polymer, resulting enlarged nanoflakes electrode coated Ni foam. Also, composite, when tested M KOH electrolyte, achieves Cs 393.1 F g −1 at current density 1 A . was more than capacitance electrode, demonstrated 233.3 Furthermore, showed excellent rate capability impressive cyclic stability, retaining 98% its initial after 5000 cycles. larger area reactions, faster electron ion transport routes, improved electroactive sites, and, most importantly, into structure major reasons performance.

Optimizing the performance of electrode materials to improve energy density supercapacitors is focus current research. Construction and design with complex yolk-shell structure, as a supercapacitor material, are great significance challenging. Herein, self-sacrificing template strategy was used construct uniform carbon-modified NiS/NiS2 spheres using Ni-based metal–organic framework (Ni-soc-MOF) precursors. Especially, carbon shells produced by pyrolysis organic ligand can mechanical stability electron conductivity. Therefore, as-obtained NiS/NiS2@C nanocomposites display high specific capacity (1082 C g−1at 1 A g−1) outstanding cycling (85% retention after 5000 cycles). In addition, hybrid device based on nanocomposite porous deliver 56.2 Wh kg−1 at 800 W kg−1, while exhibiting an excellent 86% 10,000 charge/discharge cycles, demonstrating promising potential via Ni-soc-MOF-derived route in practical application.
