Abstract Circularly polarized luminescence (CPL) in purely organic materials is limited by the almost exclusively electric nature of electronic transitions. Resolving this problem possible through structuring at dimensions comparable to wavelength visible light. Here, study explores use thin films made chiral nanotubes for enhanced induction CPL. The first performs multi‐scale modeling chiroptical properties using T‐matrix method. Combined with measurements, including Mueller matrix polarimetry, discusses within frames their structuring. When embedding aggregation‐induced fluorogens (AIEgens) into structured films, composites featured gigantic g lum factors reaching ≈10 −1 are obtained. Importantly, a series control experiments performed exclude common parasitic effects that can lead apparent CPL signals. composite and AIEgens enable visual discrimination handedness both absorption emission realms. uncovered multi‐mode enhancement directs future endeavors anticounterfeiting or holography applications.

Abstract Due to the relatively low photoluminescence quantum yield (PLQY) and horizontal dipole orientation of doped films, anthracene‐based fluorescent organic light‐emitting diodes (F‐OLEDs) have faced a great challenge achieve high external efficiency ( EQE ). Herein, novel approach is introduced by incorporating penta‐helicene into anthracene, presented as linear‐shaped 3‐(4‐(10‐phenylanthracen‐9‐yl)phenyl)dibenzo[c,g]phenanthrene (BABH) 3‐(4‐(10‐(naphthalen‐2‐yl)anthracen‐9‐yl)phenyl)dibenzo[c,g]phenanthrene (NABH). These blue hosts exhibit minimal intermolecular overlap π – stacking, effectively suppressing excimer formation, which facilitates effective transfer singlet energy dopant for PLQY 90%. Additionally, as‐obtained two BABH NABH demonstrated major components transition moments (TDM) thermal stability with glass transitional temperature T g ) surpassing 188 °C, enhancing their films be 89% 93%, respectively. The OLEDs based on excellent 10.5% 12.4% at 462 nm device lifetime up 90% initial luminance over 4500 h 100 cd m −2 , has firmly established them among most efficient F‐OLEDs anthracene date best knowledge. This work provides an instructive strategy design host highly stable F‐OLEDs.

Helically-flexible bis(BODIPY)s based on chiral ethane-1,2-diamine or −1,2-diol bridges (named helicoBODIPYs) are an interesting family of accessible and tunable small multichromophoric organic dyes enabling visible electronic circular dichroism (ECD) and, even circularly polarized luminescence (CPL). However, their CPL brightness (BCPL) is still limited (up to ca. 10 M−1cm−1), due low fluorescence efficiency owing a non-optimal participation intramolecular charge transfer (CT) emission. Herein, we analyze in depth the origin factors controlling this CT, demonstrating key BODIPY-to-BODIPY symmetry-breaking induced CT (SBCT), beyond expected within each single BODIPY chromophore push-pull character. It also demonstrated that increasing overcrowding at flexible helicoBODIPY ethane leads BODIPY-BODIPY faced dispositions, promoting SBCT detection both absorption emission bands under specific conditions. Interestingly, enhances ECD (absolute gabs values), supporting role involved forbidden transitions chiroptical activity these dyes, as well possibility modulating valuable signatures (e.g., brightness) by easily playing with steric dye bridge.
