Background
Natural
medicines
present
a
considerable
analytical
challenge
due
to
their
diverse
botanical
origins
and
complex
multi‐species
composition.
This
inherent
complexity
complicates
rapid
identification
analysis.
Tangerine
peel,
product
of
the
Citrus
species
from
Rutaceae
family,
is
widely
used
both
as
culinary
ingredient
in
traditional
Chinese
medicine.
It
classified
into
two
primary
types
China:
Citri
Reticulatae
Pericarpium
(CP)
Viride
(QP),
differentiated
by
harvest
time.
A
notable
price
disparity
exists
between
CP
another
variety,
reticulatae
“Chachi”
(GCP),
with
differences
being
based
on
original
variety.
Methods
study
introduces
an
innovative
method
using
portable
miniature
mass
spectrometry
for
swift
on‐site
analysis
QP,
CP,
GCP,
requiring
less
than
minute
per
sample.
And
combined
machine
learning
differentiate
three
site,
was
try
distinguish
GCP
different
storage
years.
Results

tangerine
peels
enabled
characterization

compounds

The
simplifies
sample
processing
integrates

Moreover,
multiple‐perceptron
neural
network
