The escalating costs of healthcare services and a growing awareness personal health responsibilities have led individuals to explore natural methods alongside conventional medicines for improvement disease prevention. aging global population is experiencing increased needs, notably related conditions like diabetes, heart disease, hypertension. Lifestyle-related diseases, poor dietary habits, sedentary lifestyles underscore the importance foods containing nutrients that can aid in preventing managing these diseases. Phenolic compounds, fundamental group phytochemicals, are prominent chemical diversity world abundant functional foods. Widely distributed various plant parts, compounds exhibit important sensory properties, including color, taste, aroma. Their diverse functionalities, particularly antioxidant activity, play crucial role mitigating cellular oxidative stress, potentially reducing damage associated with serious issues such as cardiovascular neurodegenerative disea23ses, cancer. exist different forms, some combined glycosides, impacting their biological effects absorption. Approximately 8000 polyphenols isolated from plants offer significant potential nutritional supplements. Therefore, extraction process selective sensitive food determination very important. This review focuses on processes, analytical methods, major phenolic examination encompasses comprehensive analysis approaches applications elucidating presence impact human health.

ABSTRACT Herein, a novel fluorescent/colorimetric dual‐signal intelligent detecting platform (F/C‐BMIPs) based on ratiometric fluorescence (BA‐N‐GQDs/rhodamine 6G) and collaborative recognition (borate‐MIPs) was developed for on‐site visual quantitative detection of rutin (RT) in food samples. Furthermore, the above system is transferred to test strips, combined with color ability smartphones, portable user‐friendly visualization RT (F/C‐BMIPs method) realized. Under optimal conditions, assay has wide linear range 0.2–10 μM (F‐BMIPs)/0.45–10 (F/C‐BMIPs), 10–100 (F‐BMIPs F/C‐BMIPs), limit as low 0.02 (F‐BMIPs)/0.056 (S/ N = 3), highly imprinted factor (IF 5.04), fast response (90 s). In addition, this method successfully applied two real samples (raw buckwheat Sophora japonica ), recovery rate 95.6%–103.5%. Therefore, study provides promising strategy rapid cis‐diol‐containing flavonoids
