N-Heterocyclic carbenes (NHCs) have been established as the predominant ligand class in inorganic and organometallic chemistry. Simultaneously, there has a major interest dinuclear ligands, where cooperative effects between metal centers widely exploited across numerous research avenues. Herein, we report synthesis of sterically hindered adaptable N-heterocyclic ligands based on modular IPr* framework. These are distinguished by (1) bridging group carbene donors (2) steric electronic characteristics N-aromatic wingtips. The net effect is remarkably broadly ranging environment around center (%Vbur 33.9 up to 60.4%) well versatile conformation from perfectly linear (3.2°) almost fully perpendicular (79.3°) donors. evaluated gold(I)-catalyzed hydration carboxylation alkynes, they show enhanced catalytic reactivity over mononuclear gold(I) complexes. Considering importance different fields, expect that this will be broad
