Organic-inorganic hybrid metal halides have attracted much attention due to their excellent optoelectronic properties. The heterometallic structure is expected achieve more complex luminescence centers, thereby improving the tunability of fluorescent materials. This paper reports synthesis crystals [Cu(2,2'-bpy)(PPh3)2][CuCl2(PPh3)2Sb2OCl4] (1, 2,2'-bpy = 2,2'-bipyridine, PPh3 triphenylphosphine) and (Mim)2[Sb2OCl6] (2, Mim 1-methylimidazole). Crystal 1 a new Menshutkin-type compound with double-layer hamburger-type structure, which characterized by main group (lone pair)···π (arene) supramolecular interactions. shows bright yellow light emission at room temperature has thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF) characteristic than twice increase PL intensity from 170 320 K. crystal arises charge transfer cation unit, as confirmed comparison study 2. Density functional theory (DFT) calculations further clarify that enhanced performance narrower bandgap are additional Cu(I) unit. good thermal stability air stability, ensuring its anti-counterfeiting application. work provides strategy for construction Cu-Sb compound.

Mn2+ doping in metal halide perovskites enables host-to-dopant energy transfer, creating new emission pathways for optoelectronic applications. However, achieving high-efficiency luminescence 2D systems remains challenging. We synthesized Mn2+-doped PEA2CdCl4 via the hydrothermal method, characterizing its properties through PL spectroscopy, quantum yield measurements, and DFT calculations. Flexible films were fabricated using PDMS PMMA matrices. The 15% crystal showed orange–red with 90.85% PLQY, attributed to efficient host-to-Mn2+ transfer 4T1→6A1 transition. Prototype LEDs exhibited stable emission, while demonstrated flexibility excellent X-ray imaging capability. This work demonstrates as an effective strategy enhance perovskites, potential applications flexible optoelectronics scintillators.

Halide perovskites, particularly zero-dimensional (0D) A2BX6-type structures, have garnered significant attention in diverse fields due to their exceptional photoelectric properties. This study focuses on the optical property regulation of 0D A2ZrCl6 through nonprotonated cation substitution (A = [(CH3)3SO]+ and [(CH3)4N]+) combined with different guest ions (i.e., Sb3+, Bi3+, Mn2+). The varied host–guest interaction is regarded as reason for luminescent behaviors. Sb3+ dopant has a weaker host [(CH3)3SO]2ZrCl6 than Mn2+ does. As result, Sb3+@[(CH3)3SO]2ZrCl6 shows an excitation-dependent photoluminescence ranging from blue orange, while Mn2+@[(CH3)3SO]2ZrCl6 exhibits only emission under excitation wavelengths. Besides effect interaction, organic can impact behavior well. [(CH3)4N]2ZrCl6 preferences ions. are favorable [(CH3)3SO]2ZrCl6, Bi3+ adopted [(CH3)4N]2ZrCl6. Due colors dopants, possesses behaviors engineering. Inside [(CH3)4N]2ZrCl6, weak showing PL centers excitations.
