hexapeptide
YPVEPF
with
strong
sleep-enhancing
effects
could
be
detected
in
rat
brain
after
a
single
oral
administration
as
we
previously
proved.

this
study,
the
mechanism

Chronic
stress
is
a
major
inducer

anxiety

insomnia.
Milk
casein
has
been
studied
for
its
stress-relieving
effects.
We
previously
prepared
hydrolysate
(CP)
rich
in
the
sleep-enhancing
peptide
YPVEPF,
this
study
aims
to
systemically
investigate
different
protective
effects

dysfunction

Lactuca
sativa,
ginseng,
Schisandra
chinensis,
Juglans
regia,
etc.,
purported
to
enhance
sleep
quality
by
prolonging
duration,
reducing
latency,
alleviating
anxiety.
The
mechanisms
these
foods’
mainly
occur
via
central
nervous
system,
particularly
gamma-aminobutyric
acid
(GABA)ergic
5-hydroxytryptamine
(5-HT)ergic
systems.
Although
this
supports
fact
they
potential,
further
research
is
needed.
There
also
issues
such
as
more
limited
fewer
mechanisms,
pharmacokinetic
studies,
models
being
involved.
These
need

addressed

adequately
