Photoexcitation electron donor-acceptor (EDA) complexes provide an effective approach to produce radicals under mild conditions, while the catalytic version of EDA complex photoactivation remains scarce. Herein, we report a visible-light-induced organophotocatalytic pathway for cyanoalkylation azauracils using inexpensive and readily available 1,4-diazabicyclo[2.2.2]octane (DABCO) as donor. This synthetic method exhibits exceptional compatibility with various functional groups presents 34 examples in high yields. The efficient offers environmentally friendly sustainable route toward enhancing structural diversity azauracils.

Soot has harmful effects on the environment and human health. The formation process of soot includes six steps: fuel pyrolysis, nucleation, coalescence, surface growth, aggregation, oxidation. However, is very complex influenced by factors such as type, combustion conditions, environmental temperature. Oxygenated fuels additives have a positive effect reducing emissions, but recent studies shown that oxygenated can lead to an increase in number small particles soot. In this paper, alcohol, ether, esters emissions discussed terms mechanism formation. Subsequently, role after-treatment systems summarized. This work update our understanding impact emissions.

We present an electrochemical alkylation of azauracils using N-(acyloxy)phthalimides (NHPI esters) as readily available alkyl radical progenitors under metal- and additive-free conditions. Several are shown to undergo with array NHPI esters (1°, 2°, 3°, sterically congested), providing the desired products in good excellent yields. This operationally simple method is robust, scalable, suitable for both batch flow setups.

Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) is an aggressive blood cancer with a poor prognosis, especially when diagnosed late. Around 10–15% of cases involve the specific chromosomal abnormality t(8;21), which drives uncontrolled cell proliferation and contributes to disease onset. Despite advances in AML research treatment protocols, outcomes for t(8;21) remain stagnant, as patients receive standard, nonspecific chemotherapies. This one-size-fits-all approach targets both cancerous healthy cells, leading unwanted toxicity highlighting urgent need targeted therapies. In this study, we present precision chemotype based on quinoxalone-tethered adamantane framework developed via metal- light-free protocol. The compound selectively inhibits induces death by disrupting growth metabolic pathways, demonstrated through bioassays, RNA sequencing, proteomic analysis. Notably, it spares other leukemic solid underscoring its specificity potential therapy AML.

Abstract A Minisci‐type carbamoylation of azauracils was developed to afford 6‐carbamoyl in yields up 94 %. In this transformation, oxamic acids were employed as the carbamoyl radical sources under metal‐free conditions. It features high atom economy, good functional group compatibility and convenient operation.
