The increasing occurrence of oil spills and industrial effluents containing have heightened the need for effective oil-water separation. This study developed a magnetic superhydrophobic melamine sponge using dip-coating method with ZnO, stearic acid, Fe3O4 nanoparticles. Characterization via XRD, FESEM, EDX, FT-IR, AFM, VSM, water contact angle measurements (160.96˚ ± 0.65˚) revealed its excellent properties. demonstrated sorption capacity 36.12 1.9 to 83.71 2.8 g·g−1 separation efficiency ranging from 97.82 1.3 99.83 1.7%. Its performance in removing real effluent was also evaluated. Additionally, exhibited reusability high separating emulsified droplets. These results highlight potential modified as an sorbent oily wastewater treatment.

Novel electroactive nanotags of Cu(II) functionalized polyethylenimine (PEI)/SiO2 nanoparticles (abbreviated as Cu2+/PEI/SiO2 NPs) were conveniently synthesized using a strong coordination reaction between and the multi-amino groups PEI. These easily coated on overoxidized polypyrrole (OPPy) modified Nafion/multi-walled carbon nanotubes Nafion/MWNTs) electrode surface through Cu-N bonds electrostatic interactions. The NPs@OPPy/MWNTs hybrid nanomaterial was formed without addition extra membrane-forming substances. experimental results demonstrate that OPPy/MWNTs composite membrane coupled with electrocatalytic Cu(Tris)42+ complexes in tris(hydroxymethyl)aminomethane (Tris)-HCl buffer medium amplified electrochemical signals based mutual synergistic effects. As an application, label-free immunosensor for epithelial ovarian cancer biomarker-carbohydrate antigen-125 (CA125) constructed by covalently immobilizing CA125 antibody onto electrode. With increasing concentrations antigen, different decreases observed due to formation antigen-antibody immune complexes. showed linear relationship from 0.001 500 U·mL−1 detection limit 3.4 × 10−4 U·mL−1. In addition, proposed applied determination human serum satisfactory results.
