We demonstrated a mechanochromic chameleon packaging that quantitatively visualizes damage based on the polydiacetylene blue-to-red color transition. The applied pressures can be conveniently read by taking photograph via homemade mobile app called "Pressure Analysis App". key aspects of development were 1) adjustment sensitivity adding guest molecules into PDA matrix, 2) quantitative calibration, and 3) accurate reading pressure from RGB images calibration. force cellulose was characterized in range 30-100 nN (2.59-8.86 MPa) at nanoscale dual friction force/fluorescence microscopy, 0.7-2.2 N (0.11-0.35 macroscopic scale tester. scanning speed found to one parameters, where above 50 mm/s 6.45 times larger than below 10 mm/s. developed system used for transporting electronics medical tools, such as vaccine vials, food, etc., more safely reliably future.

Abstract This review focuses on recent advancements regarding mechanoresponsive functions of diacetylene (DA) and polydiacetylene (PDA). Their ability to undergo pronounced topochemical polymerization chromatic behavior variations in response external stimuli has marked them as a promising platform for chemo- bio-sensing over the past few decades. Notably, major advances, showcasing selective highly sensitive mechanoresponses along with their quantitative analysis, have been achieved years. The categorization includes DAs undergoing pressure-controlled crystalline transitions polymerization, well PDAs exhibiting mechanochromic or mechanofluorochromic transitions. Accordingly, this covers molecular designs allowing mechanical activation nanostructured hybridized amplifying stimulus-optical feedback, nanoscopic analytical tools mechanochromism, potential applications mechanochemical sensing imaging.

Abstract Mechanoresponsive materials have been studied to visualize and measure stresses in various fields. However, the high‐sensitive spatiotemporal imaging remain a challenging issue. In particular, time evolutional responsiveness is not easily integrated mechanoresponsive materials. present study, of weak compression achieved by time‐evolutional controlled diffusion processes using conjugated polymer, capsule, sponge.
