Abstract Water-dispersible perovskite nanocrystals (PNCs) show promising applications in recognizing ionic and molecular species because of their excellent optical properties. However, lead halide PNCs have some limitations when they are used as probes for sensing aqueous media. Here, we introduce trypsin (Try) a bioligand the synthesis cesium chloride (CsPbCl3) with high water stability. The as-fabricated Try-CsPbCl3 λEm/Ex at 433/370 nm quantum yield 17.26%. fluorescence emission spectral characteristics demonstrated that water-stable acted fluorescent probe detection hydroxyl radical (OH) via turn-off mechanism. PNCs-based approach displayed good selectivity water, showing wider linear range (0.01–5 µM) remarkable limit 3.10 nM radical. as-prepared were to be facile OH samples, which signifies exhibited broad cell imaging.

Breast cancer, a major health concern globally, often faces challenges in the non-invasive elimination of cancer cells. This has prompted researchers to explore alternative strategies, such as photothermal therapy (PTT), which takes advantage location breast lesions. Additionally, tumor microenvironment with high hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) provides key prerequisite for treating tumors nanozymes, especially those peroxidase (POD)-like activity. However, overexpression TrxR1, maintains redox homeostasis cells, limits reactive oxygen species (ROS)-based cytotoxic therapy. study aims present molybdenum selenide nano urchins (MoSe2 NUs) excellent conversion efficiency, POD-like activity and selective inhibition TrxR1 achieve enhanced nanocatalytic combating cancer. The characterization MoSe2 NUs synthesized by hydrothermal method was identified TEM, XRD, Zeta potential DLS. Whether conjunction NIR possessed activities or not via TMB colorimetric method. characteristics excited near-infrared were recorded an infrared thermal imaging camera. antitumor effect detected cell death staining, apoptosis assay animal experiments. apoptosis-related protein expression Western blot Immunohistochemistry. activity, TrxR1. Furthermore, can enhance their allowing accurate treatment under (NIR) light. plus alone exhibited vivo rates 69.7% 35.1%, respectively. Mechanistically, NIR-regulated induced potent cells downregulating elevating intracellular ROS, thereby leading caspase-3 cleavage. demonstrated that irradiation precisely efficiently treat have great clinical application.
