Herein, we report a novel organometallic series of potent purine-functionalized ferrocene derivatives (PFD) as redox catalysts. The synthesized PFDs were characterized through FTIR, H/CNMR, and liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry (LCMS). Their thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) revealed the thermal stability up to 250 °C, degradation was noted in range 300–500 °C. catalytic performance tested found for oxidative methyl blue (MB) 99% reductive conversion trinitrophenol (TNP) into triaminophenol (TAP) 92%, which is supported by their band gap (2.7 eV). highest unoccupied molecular orbital (HUMO) lowest (LUMO) calculations confirmed stable geometry PFDs, negative values HOMO LUMO have oxidation reduction they Vb > Va Vc Vd Ve due functions variable substitution. Lagergren pseudo-first-order kinetic model, support performance, that mobility dye/phenol molecules with PFD what regulates rate.

Abstract Metal‐free Buchwald‐Hartwig type photocatalytic approach for N‐substitution of 1,2,4‐triazole at normal temperature was explored the first‐time using novel imidazolium based Brønsted acid functionalized porphyrin (ImBAFPc). The energy band gap and Hammett acidity were determined by UV‐Vis spectrophotometer. gap, 1.06 eV supported absorption radiation in visible region. N‐arylation with various Ar−X achieved a home‐made photoreactor heterogeneous, recyclable ImBAFPc photocatalyst under irradiation 5 W LED good yields. protocol tolerated electron donating attracting Ar−X, including inactivated chlorobenzene, affording arylated triazole admirable ambient conditions.
