Mixed systems based on ionic liquids are promising innovative solvents due to their properties, which strictly connected the interactions that arise among components. The present work investigates intermolecular of a mixed choline acetate and maleic acid system modifications with increasing content. MM/DFT calculations provided indications about possible geometric configurations while Non-Covalent Interaction analysis was useful describe distinguish secondary interactions. number available decreases at high concentration. Moreover, intramolecular hydrogen bonding observed in all except most stable one lowest content mixture. Concomitantly, far-infrared spectroscopy used investigate support computational results.
