methods
that
minimally
invasive
with
high
specificity
for
malignant
cells.
Emerging
research
has
concentrated
on
the
application
of
metal
nanoparticles
encapsulated
in
porphyrin
their
derivatives
to
improve
efficacy
these
treatments.
Gold
silver
have
distinct
optical
properties
biocompatibility,
which
makes
them
efficient
materials
PDT
PTT.
Conjugation
increases
light
absorption
singlet
oxygen
generation
create
a
synergistic
effect
phototoxicity
against
Porphyrin
encapsulation
gold
or
improves
solubility,
stability,
targeted
tumor
delivery.
This
paper
provides
comprehensive
review
design,
functionalization,
uses
plasmonic
biomedicine
how
they
can
be
conjugated
porphyrins
therapeutic
effects.
Furthermore,
it
investigates
this
dual-modal
therapy's
advantages
disadvantages
offers
perspectives
future
prospects.
The
possibility
developing

silver,
nanotechnology-enabled
combination
is
also
examined.

ABSTRACT
Iron‐based
nanomaterials
(IBNMs)
have
been
widely
applied
in
biomedicine
applications
including
magnetic
resonance
imaging,
targeted
drug
delivery,
tumor
therapy,
and
so
forth,
due
to
their
unique
magnetism,
excellent
biocompatibility,
diverse
modalities.
Further
research
on
its
enormous
biomedical
potential
is
still
ongoing,
new
features
are
constantly
being
tapped
demonstrated.
Among
them,
various
types
of
IBNMs
demonstrated
significant
cancer
therapy
capabilities
by
regulating
the
microenvironment
(TME).
In
this
review,
a
variety
iron
oxide‐based
(IONMs),
iron‐based
complex
conjugates
(ICCs),
single
atom
(ISANMs)
will
be
introduced,
advantages
TME
would
also
emphasized.
Besides,
recent
progress
for
diagnosis
treatment
through
strategy
modulating
summarized,
overcoming
hypoxia,
acidity,
decreasing
redox
species,
immunoregulation.
Finally,
challenges
opportunities
field
briefly
discussed.
This
review
expected
contribute
future
design
development
next‐generation
TME‐modulate
treatment.

Abstract
Proteins
have
emerged
as
promising
therapeutics
in
oncology
due
to
their
great
specificity.
Many
treatment
strategies
are
developed
based
on
protein
biologics,
such
immunotherapy,
starvation
therapy,
and
pro‐apoptosis
while
some
biologics
entered
the
clinics.
However,
clinical
translation
is
severely
impeded
by
instability,
short
circulation
time,
poor
transmembrane
transportation,
immunogenicity.
Micro‐
nano‐particles‐based
drug
delivery
platforms
designed
solve
those
problems
enhance
therapeutic
efficacy.
This
review
first
summarizes
different
types
of
proteins
research
stages,
highlighting
administration
limitations.
Next,
various
micro‐
nano‐particles
described
demonstrate
how
they
can
overcome
The
potential
then
explored
efficacy
combinational
therapies.
Finally,
challenges
future
directions
carriers
discussed
for
optimized
delivery.
