All-solid-state batteries suffer from a loss of contact between the electrode and electrolyte particles, leading to poor cyclability. Here, void-free ion-permeable interface solid-state polymer is constructed in situ during cycling using charge/discharge voltage as stimulus. During charge-discharge, permeation phase fills voids at penetrates electrode, forming strong bonds with cathode effectively mitigating problem. Our all-solid-state potassium ion maintain high Coulombic efficiency more than 2000 cycles operating 4.5 volt stably cycle 500 even 4.6 volt. rational design for problem versatile, demonstrated by scalability graphite-based potassium-ion pouch cells lithium-ion batteries.

We investigated the surprising ionic conductivity trend of a series hybrid complexes based on lithium iodide (LiI) associated with different size crown ethers. Through combination experimental and theoretical methods, LiI were characterized to rationalize unexpected tendency conductivity.
