Structural, opto-electronic and thermoelectric properties of square butterfly like structured NaASb (A = Ca, Sr Ba) Sodium Antimonides in tetragonal hexagonal symmetries (P4/nmm P62 m) are investigated using density functional theory (DFT). Structural good agreement with the reported outcomes. Cohesive energy per atom (−8.233 to −26.1004 for P4/nmm −8.522 −28.7306 m symmetry) enthalpy formation (−0.9468 −2.6800 −1.1721 −2.8034 these compounds reveals that stable both more space group as compare symmetry. Electronic shows transition from indirect direct band gap nature occur by replacement Ca/Sr Ba symmetry while all bandgap semiconductors. The values lie range 0–1.393 0.542 1.547 respectively Electrical conductivity also semiconducting characteristic compounds. study Ca reduce reduction is greater m. outcome demonstrates implicitly active optically infrared region capable serving primary applicant optoelectronic devices. Thermoelectric Seebeck coefficient (−138.5 154.7 μV/K P4/nmm, −36.5 −125.3 at 500 K), Power factor (1.33–3.05 GW/mK2s 0.152–0.322 K) figure merit ranges 0.495 0.946 0.016 0.260 K potential candidates application
