Abstract Antimicrobial resistance is emerging as a global health challenge that requires immediate and concerted attention. Accordingly, the WHO has issued alerts urging to continue developing antibiotics with novel mechanisms of action toward clinically important pathogens, including Acinetobacter baumannii . In this context, fungi have played crucial role in discovery development antibiotics. Therefore, work, three fungal strains were prioritized based on their metabolic profiles antibacterial activity against pan-resistant isolate A. , identify potential antibiotic molecules. Abstract Four extracts of the marine-derived fungus Penicillium velutinum J.F.H. Beyma were obtained via metal ions stress conditions based on OSMAC (One Strain Many Compounds) strategy. Neural stem cells (NSCs) exhibit a remarkable capacity for self-renewal and have the potential to differentiate into various neural lineage cells, which makes them pivotal in management of neurological disorders. Harnessing inherent endogenous NSCs enhancing nerve repair regeneration represents an optimal approach addressing diseases nervous system. In this study, we explored novel benzophenone derivative named Digirseophene A (DGA), was isolated from endophytic fungus Corydalis tomentella. Previous experiments extensively identified characterized DGA, revealing its unique properties. Our findings demonstrate capability DGA stimulate cell proliferation, both vitro vivo. Furthermore, established model radiation-induced cerebellar injury assess effects on distribution different subpopulations within damaged cerebellum, thereby suggesting beneficial role repair. addition, our observations primary revealed that significantly increased cellular oxygen consumption, indicating energy metabolic demands. By utilizing pathway inhibitors combination with successfully demonstrated ability counteract suppressive impacts AMPK GSK3β NSC proliferation. Collectively, research results strongly suggest as innovative compound, exerts activating promoting through regulation AMPK/AKT/GSK3β pathway.
