The enantioselective recognition and separation of racemic tryptophan are significant importance in the fields medicine, pharmaceutics, biochemistry. However, conventional methods costly, energy intensive, environmentally unfriendly. In this case, l-Cys with amino (-NH2) sulfhydryl (-SH) groups was chosen to modify β-CD a chiral cavity achieve self-assembly via hydrogen bonding, which not only serves as an electrochemical sensor enhanced sites at sensing interface but also achieves higher enantioselectivity for d-tryptophan enantiomers through bonding between host guest. Moreover, were subsequently degraded under catalytic conditions simulating visible light, new approach introduce properties photocatalysis without organic synthesis. use inclusion-complex formation combined simple technology photocatalytic degradation techniques efficiently rapidly identify degrade harmful d-type acid offers avenues, would have great potential future studies.
