Coordination polymers (CPs) are a diverse class of multi-dimensional compounds that show promise as photocatalysts for degrading dyes in polluted water. Herein, new 1D Cd(II)-based coordination polymer with the formula [Cd(bpyp)(nba)2] (1) (bpyp = 2,5-bis(pyrid-4-yl)pyridine and Hnba 4-nitrobenzoic acid) is synthesized characterized. In 1, two carboxyl groups different nba- ligands μ2-η1:η1 μ1-η1:η1 modes to connect CdII centers sit on either side chain along b direction. The produced CP 1 was utilized photocatalyst process photodegradation methyl blue (MB), orange (MO), rhodamine B (RhB), violet (MV) when exposed UV light. photocatalytic degradation activities were analyzed, results suggest it exhibits an extraordinary efficiency MB, MV, MO, RhB. RhB has 95.52% degradation, whereas MV 58.92% efficiency, MO 35.44%, MB 29.24%. photodecomposition catalyzed mostly by •O2- •OH-, shown research involving trapping radicals.

Developing efficient and sensitive MOF-based luminescence sensors for bioactive molecule detection is of great significance remains a challenge. Benefiting from favorable chemical thermal stability, as well excellent performance, porous Zn(II)Ho(III) heterometallic-organic framework (ZnHoMOF) was selected here bifunctional sensor the early diagnosis toluene exposure biomarker hippuric acid (HA) through "turn-on" enhancing response daily monitoring NFT/NFZ antibiotics "turn-off" quenching effects in aqueous media with high sensitivity, acceptable selectivity, good anti-interference, exceptional recyclability low limits (LODs) 0.7 ppm HA, 0.04 NFT, 0.05 NFZ. Moreover, developed employed to quantify HA diluted urine samples natural river water satisfactory results. In addition, sensing mechanisms ZnHoMOF dual-response chemosensor were conducted view photo-induced electron transfer (PET), inner filter (IFEs), help time-dependent density functional theory (TD-DFT) spectral overlap experiments.
