Abstract The inclusion of charge storage properties in electrochromic devices (ECDs) has gained much interest and evolved into a promising emerging energy-related field due to multifunctional smart device applications. Here, an organic–inorganic solid-state asymmetric supercapacitor (ESCD) containing nano-CoTiO 3 -mixed poly-3-hexylthiophene WO as two electrodes been designed study properties. electrochemical CoTiO show pseudocapacitive-type capability, which utilized enhance the performance ESCD with additional ability. shows fast charging slow discharging, giving very high coulombic efficiency specific capacitance 6.4 mF cm −2 at 0.2 mA current density. excellent supercapacitive color contrast ∼50% short switching time ∼1 s 515 nm wavelength cyclic stability. exhibits capability cut near infrared (700 850 nm) potential application heat filtering device. An all‐organic multifunctional solid‐state electrochromic supercapacitor has been designed by utilizing 2D‐MXene and a combination of viologen polythiophene. The 2D MXene is synthesized using selective etching method properly characterized; afterward, it doped in ethyl (EV) device prepared having poly‐3‐hexylthiophene (P3HT) as complementary electrode. gives high optical contrast (OC) (≈85%) coloration efficiency (CE) (≈340 cm 2 C −1 ) with ≈1 s switching time the visible spectrum at 515 nm. A similar color modulation observed NIR region also. Along properties, takes almost 23.1 for discharging 6.7 charging, giving Columbic due to pseudocapacitor‐type charge storage property providing necessary electrons redox reaction occur. current study proposes new MXene‐based recipe designing supercapacitors promise practical use.

ABSTRACT Electrochromic energy storage devices (EESDs) have emerged as innovative technologies in and smart materials, generating considerable interest for numerous applications, such wearables, windows, color‐changing sunglasses. EESDs consist of two primary categories: electrochromic supercapacitors (ESCs) batteries (ECBs). These are particularly appreciated their multifunctional features, which allow them to alter color response different charge densities. The performance efficiency rely on three essential components: (I) the current collector or substrate (cc/substrate), serves conductive base device; (II) electrolyte, supports ion movement improves overall electrochemical performance; (III) materials (ECMs), responsible changes functions. Careful selection optimization these components crucial enhancing devices' efficiency, stability, lifespan. Advanced flexible stretchable shown significant potential. Their natural flexibility facilitates seamless incorporation into curved surfaces diverse shapes, making especially suitable wearable other cutting‐edge applications. However, this also brings challenges, including concerns related delamination, material dissociation, degradation over time. A thorough investigation is progressing conversion systems. Grasping vital creating sustainable solutions improving capabilities.

Developing efficient generic electrochromic devices yet capable of demonstrating specialized applications is desired for designing smart (opto)electronic gadgets. An approach combining material from three different families (conducting) polymer, organic functional molecules, and modern 2D MXenes has been adopted here to develop a solid-state device with improved performance. Such suprahybrid developed where an all-organic polythiophene–viologen-based have doped vanadium carbide (V2C) MXene not only enhance the performances but also demonstrate application in multipurpose goggles. The doping V2C increases color contrast switching speed, which shows visible as well near-infrared range so that it can cut heat up 12%. A high cyclic stability coloration efficiency was demonstrated two wavelength regions. By utilization device's flexible nature, prototype pair goggles prepared changes one or more frames by selectively giving bias making 3D vision
