Abstract In this study, we have developed a europium‐DPA lanthanide complex for the sensitive detection of uric acid. Since, acid plays major role as biomarker kidney related diseases and metabolic diseases. Its is high clinical significance. Our probe exhibits bright red fluorescence with an emission at 613 nm, which subsequently quenched by addition in linear range 0–16.39 µM low LOD 7.54 µM. The shows good selectivity sensitivity towards presence coexisting biomarkers ions present body fluid. significance evaluated biological samples such human serum urine satisfactory recovery percentage 86%–104%, respectively. Moreover, practical applicability studied paper strip model.
