Abstract Metal‐free ionic crystals have attracted tremendous attention for their environmental friendliness, biocompatibility, easy fabrication and structural variability. Herein, a metal‐free crystal [C 7 H 16 NO][ClO 4 ] ([C NO]=1‐methyl‐4‐piperidinemethanol) with dielectric transition at room temperature was designed constructed. Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) proved that there exists reversible phase near 304 K, accompanied switchable behaviors between the low high states. The single structure show mechanism of such mainly results from dynamic motion perchlorate anions. compound is further shown to exhibit remarkable luminescent properties, characterized by prolonged lifetime 18.6 ns. This work offers valuable insights into construction phase‐transition involved switching blue luminescence properties.
