Cellulose nanofibril (CNF) is a sort of novel nanomaterial directly extracted from plant resources, inheriting the advantages cellulose as cheap, green and renewable material for development new-generation eco-friendly electronics. In recent years, CNF-based triboelectric nanogenerator (TENG) has attracted increasing research interests, unique chemical, morphological, electrical properties CNF render device with considerable flexibility, mechanical strength, output. this study, we explore use isoreticular metal-organic frameworks (IRMOF) functional filler to improve performance based TENGs. Two types IRMOFs that own same network topology, namely IRMOF-1 its aminated version IRMOF-3, are embedded fabricated TENGs; their contribution output enhancement, including roughness effect induced by large particles well charge induction arisen -NH2 groups, discussed. The performance-enhanced TENG 0.6 wt.% IRMOF-3 utilized harvest energy human activities commercial capacitors, which sufficient light up light-emitting diodes (LEDs) drive low-power electronic devices. addition, locomotor analysis system established assembling above TENGs capacitors into 3 × sensing array, allowed signal extraction each unit display motion distribution map. These results demonstrate great potential CNF/IRMOF-based self-powered devices long-term monitoring.
