A
new
subclass
of
nutraceuticals,
called
immunoceuticals,
is
dedicated
to
immunological
regulation.
Although
yeast-derived
β-1,3/1,6-D-glucan
shows
promise
as
an
immunoceutical
candidate,
further
studies
are
needed
define
its
precise
immune-enhancing
processes
and
standardize
use.
Following
methotrexate
(MTX)-induced
immunosuppression
in
rats,
we
evaluated
the
immunomodulatory
efficacy
a
highly
pure
standardized
sample
(YBG)
RAW
264.7
macrophages.
In
vitro
vivo
models,
YBG
demonstrated
remarkable
effects,
such
repair
immune
organ
damage,
elevation
blood
cytokine
levels,
enhanced
phagocytosis

cells.
These
results

with

β-glucan.

this
research

Parkinson’s
disease
(PD)
frailty,
which
share
several
common
characteristics,
are
becoming
increasingly
prevalent
worldwide,
underscoring
urgent
need
for
innovative
strategies.
Nutraceuticals
naturally
occurring
bioactive
compounds
contained
in
foods,
offering
health
benefits
over
above
essential
nutrition.
By
examining
literature
from
past
decade,
review
highlights
how
nutraceuticals
can
act
as
complementary
therapies,
addressing
key
processes,
such
oxidative
stress,
inflammation,
neuroprotection.
Notably,
antioxidant
action
appears
particularly
beneficial
regard
PD
For
instance,
antioxidant-rich
may
mitigate
damage
linked
levodopa
therapy
PD,
potentially
reducing
side
effects
enhancing
treatment
sustainability.
Similarly,
amplify
activity,
muscle
function,
health,
resilience,
thereby
proposes
holistic
approach
integrating
with
exercise,
pharmacotherapy,
lifestyle
adjustments.
It
promises
transform
management
ARD,
prolong
life,
improve
quality
life
well-being
people.
