A novel 1D polymer of 1,2-di(pyridin-4-yl)ethane (L1), connected via B-N dative-bonded adduct with an eight-membered cyclo-1,3,3,5,7,7-hexaphenyl-1,5-dibora-3,7-disiloxane [Ph6B2Si2O4]·L1 was synthesized and characterized. The new compound prepared by the reaction bis(pyridyl)ethane in a mixture diethyl ether petroleum solvents at reflux. characterized single-crystal X-ray diffraction, nuclear magnetic resonance, FT-IR spectroscopy. single crystal diffraction studies reveal that aforementioned crystalized monoclinic system centrosymmetric space group P21/n (no. 14), = 16.5378(4) Å, b 12.6201(3) c 20.4904(5) β 96.689(2)°, V 4247.43(18) Å3, Z 4, T 173.0 K, μ(MoKα) 0.130 mm-1, Dcalc 1.233 g/cm3, 14630 reflections measured (4.96° ≤ 2Θ 56.424°), 8424 unique (Rint 0.0235, Rsigma 0.0460) which were used all calculations, final R1 0.0455 (I > 2σ(I)) wR2 0.1201 (all data). Furthermore, exhibits various noncovalent interactions packing, such as intermolecular intramolecular, well hydrogen bonding. This study demonstrates potential for making materials combination cyclodiboradisiloxanes (Lewis acid) nitrogen-containing ligands bases).

We hereby report the syntheses and characterization of a new dimer azopyridine connected through six-membered B-N dative-bonded-adduct Ph8B4Si2O6·L (4) hydrogen-bond-induced macrocyclic product 4(Ph2Si(OH)2)·3(C10H8N4) (5). The products were obtained after an eight-membered 2,2,4,6,6,8-hexaphenyl-1,3,5,7,2,6,4,8-tetraoxa disiladiborocane (Ph6B2Si2O4) (3), which is abundant in literature, was successfully synthesized characterized by standard analytical spectroscopic methods such as single-crystal XRD, melting point, nuclear magnetic resonance Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. Subsequently, compound 3 4,4-azopyridine (L) reacted mixture diethyl ether petroleum solvents at reflux. This reaction caused contraction to give two - 4 (Ph8B4Si2O6·L), These have been resonance, spectroscopy, point. Single crystal X-ray diffraction studies reveal that crystalized monoclinic system with centrosymmetric space group P21/c, = 11.0879(4) Å, b 14.3707(4) c 16.2697(5) β 98.759(3)°, V 2562.20(13) Å3, Z 2. On other hand, (5) orange blocky needles crystallized triclinic P-1, 12.2352(3) 15.3274(6) 20.0271(6) α 89.879(3)°, 89.988(2)° γ 78.298(3)°, 3677.7(2) Furthermore, compounds 5 exhibit various noncovalent interactions packing, intermolecular intramolecular π-π well hydrogen bonding. study demonstrates potential for making novel materials via combination cyclodiboradisiloxane (a Lewis acid) nitrogen-containing ligand base).
