Abstract A promising flexible photodetector based on hybrid nanocomposites of 2D MXene and In 2 O 3 nanoparticles (NPs) has been developed, demonstrating excellent ultraviolet (UV) light responsivity. this work, ‐decorated nanosheets (In MX) are synthesized via a simple one‐step sonochemical method using ultrasonication, rapidly producing the composites in short time. The material shows efficacy across broadband wavelengths (UV, Vis, NIR). Notably, MX exhibits responsivity ( R ) 121.6 W −1 specific detectivity D *) 106.4 × 10¹⁰ Jones UV range, confirming enhanced electrical properties feasibility low‐voltage detection with tau plots. Additionally, optical characteristics remain unchanged after bending device up to 10,000 times radius 6.0 mm, highlighting its suitability for optoelectronic applications. Overall, study introduces novel approach synthesis provides valuable insights into development photodetectors these materials.

Abstract By virtue of the excellent flexibility, conformability, portability, and aesthetics, wearable photodetectors have attracted worldwide research enthusiasm over past decade. However, traditional bulk covalent semiconductors are difficult to be applied due their pronounced rigidity. Profiting from self‐passivated surface, carrier mobility, strong light‐harvesting ability, low‐dimensional van der Waals materials (LDvdWMs) shown immense potential for application in optoelectronic devices. Nevertheless, preparation flexible through exfoliation/transfer or solution methods has suffered severe drawbacks spanning low production yield, contamination, uncompetitive device properties. Therefore, researchers been committed exploring alternative strategies. In response this, current review systematically summarizes latest advancements directly constructing LDvdWM on substrates, including developing low‐melting‐point targeted materials, electron‐beam‐enabled crystallization, photonic modified chemical vapor deposition, pulsed‐laser with elaboration fundamental mechanisms enabling situ deposition LDvdWMs. Finally, tricky challenges standing way this field epitomized solutions addressing them proposed. On whole, underscores distinctive pathways development photodetectors, which probably usher next‐generation technologies.

The van der Waals junction of two-dimensional materials has the characteristics weak interlayer interaction and strong light–mass interaction. internal electric field formed at interface Van promotes separation efficient transfer photogenerated carriers, showing low power consumption, self-drive, high responsiveness, ultrafast response. Therefore, we fabricate a transverse homojunction photodetector by mechanical stripping. Furthermore, considering influence contact between two sides metal electrodes, select electrodes corresponding to matching work function according Fermi level with different thicknesses MoTe2, anti-barrier layers are obtained. Finally, self-driven Au-thin MoTe2-thick MoTe2–Ni/Au structure is fabricated, which improves photosensitivity response time, broadens spectral detection range. When Vds = 0 V, rectifier ratio increases 4.6 × 103, 50 times higher than that symmetrical electrode homojunction. Under zero bias voltage, when spot area 3 10−9 m2, reaches 28 mA/W (637 nm), time 38.83/40.17 μs, infrared extended 1550 nm. It potential applications in optoelectronics optical signal detection.

Due to the rise of research on wearable electronic devices, flexible and waterproof optoelectronic devices have attracted much attention in recent years. Considering limitations its three-dimensional crystal structure instability humid environments, application ZnO material has been limited seriously. Herein, a ultraviolet photodetector was prepared by drop-coating NPs/PVDF hybrid film PET substrate. Because existence PVDF between nanoparticles, decay time device (1.3 s) decreases significantly compared with based nanoparticles (6.86 s). The obtained exhibits good performance; even if soaked water for 55 min, photocurrent rise/decay only slightly change. With increase bend degree, is decreased, also decreased. After being bent 1000 times, still high (0.4 μA) significant photoresponse characteristics. results demonstrate that this great potential actual electronics.
