Abstract Foodborne pathogens are a crucial diagnostic target for the food, beverage, and healthcare sectors due to their ubiquity potential damage they may do public's well‐being, food safety, economy. Over past few decades, there has been an increased focus on developing highly precise trusted biosensors in effort eliminate discrepancy between reporting demands currently used traditional detection approaches. Metal oxide semiconductor (MOS)‐based gas sensors have rapidly advanced recent years, becoming dominating technology devices food‐quality management, biomedical research, diagnostics. This review systematically explores advancements sensing technologies utilizing metal oxide‐based of foodborne through analysis volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Abstract Immunoglobulin E (IgE) plays a crucial role in allergic reactions and parasitic infections. Accurate detection of IgE is essential for diagnosing managing diseases. Conventional methods, such as enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) radioallergosorbent tests (RASTs), rely on complex antibody production. This study aimed to identify novel human IgE-binding peptides using phage display technology. A 12-mer phage-displayed peptide library was screened against native IgE, obtaining sixteen high-specificity clones from 208 candidates. Six were selected synthesis characterization via bead array assays. All synthetic exhibited specific binding without cross-reactivity other isotypes (IgA, IgG, IgM) or species (goat, mouse, rat). Sensitivity analysis identified four with low limits detection, indicating their suitability quantification. presents the first targeting offering advantages stability, simplicity, cost-effectiveness over antibody-based methods. These have potential diagnostic test development, providing reliable alternative detection. However, further optimization clinical validation are necessary establish utility tests.
