Abstract
This
study
investigates
the
effects
of
graphene
oxide
(GO)
and
silver
nanoparticle
(AgNP)
composite
(GO-AgNP)
on
digestive
physiology
gut
ultrastructure
Acheta
domesticus
(house
cricket)
during
extended
exposure.
Various
concentrations
GO-AgNP
were
tested
to
assess
their
impact
food
consumption,
assimilation,
cell
status
(Dead
Cells
ROS
+
cells),
enzyme
activity,
structural
damage
cells.
Concentration
exposure
time
had
significant
oxidative
stress,
structure.
The
applied
reduced
cumulative
consumption
assimilation
efficiency.
Enzyme
assays
showed
that
lower
enhanced
carbohydrate-degrading
while
higher
inhibited
protease
activity.
Histological
analysis
revealed
epithelial
cells
signs
autophagy
or
necrosis
at
concentrations.
These
results
suggest
GO
AgNPs
contribute
cycle
disruption,
apoptosis,
with
having
a
potentially
stronger
effect
than
GO.
disturbed
activity
may
result
from
conformational
changes
caused
by
agglomeration.
findings
underline
potential
risks
associated
environmental
agricultural
use
composites.
