Owing to its extensive use and intrinsic toxicity, NH3 detection is very crucial. Moisture can cause significant interference in the performance of sensors, detecting high humidity still a challenge. In this work, humidity-activated sensor was prepared by urocanic acid (URA) modifying poly (ethylene glycol) diacrylate (PEGDA) via thiol-ene click cross-linking reaction. The optimized achieved response 70% 50 ppm at 80% RH, with time 105.6 s recovery 346.8 s. improved for speed. addition, showed excellent selectivity high-humidity environments, making it suitable some areas all year round or such as respiratory gas. A detailed investigation NH3-sensing mechanism conducted using complex impedance plot (CIP) measurements.
