Abstract Six monosubstituted phenazine derivatives were designed and synthesized for constructing cocrystals to investigate their structure–property relationship. It was found that 2‐substituted phenazines could form with 2,6‐dimethylphenylboronic acid (DBA). These exhibited red‐shifted enhanced luminescence relative individual components, especially 2NP‐DBA whose efficiency nearly 100 times higher than of 2NP. By analyzing the single‐crystal structures hydrogen bonds π–π interactions between molecules detected in cocrystals, which suppressed nonradiative transition pathways. Consequently, all three demonstrated strong continuous interactions, differed from previously reported enhancement resulting destruction interactions. An in‐depth investigation these can not only provide a better understanding structure‐property relationship organic luminescent materials, but also help develop materials intense solid‐state In addition, optical response acidic vapors has been successfully applied anti‐counterfeiting.

The misuse of fentanyl poses significant social risks, and accurately swiftly detecting in field settings presents a considerable challenge. Herein, we have designed synthesized fluorescent probe TP-CF3-COOH, which is composed carboxyl- trifluoromethyl-binding center tetraphenyl butadiene. unique centrosymmetric configuration the TP-CF3-COOH allows for construction fluorescence “on–off” mechanism recognition platform by spatially matching its metabolite norfentanyl. Importantly, this study reveals that interaction or norfentanyl with results spontaneous self-assembly, generating three-dimensional complex sphere smaller than two-dimensional sheet probe. This self-assembly process quenching fluorescence. Theoretical calculations demonstrate accompanied intermolecular through-space charge transfer during leading to blue shift emission wavelength. As result, enables quantitative detection fentanyl/norfentanyl within range 1 × 10−2–1 103 μg/L, limits 2 10−4 μg/L 3 respectively. cost-effective, rapid, sensitive holds great potential onsite screening analogues.
