Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) have been widely used in the field of fluorescence sensing due to their highly ordered spatial structures, large porosity, and uniform pore sizes. Here, two new Cd- MOFs (JLJU-2 JLJU-3), based on ligand 4-(1H-1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)phenyl-4,2':6',4"-terpyridine (L) carboxylate ligands, were synthesized by solvothermal method. JLJU-2 JLJU-3 characterized single-crystal X-ray diffraction, powder infrared spectroscopy, UV-visible thermogravimetric analysis. Respectively, exhibit 2D 3D structures using L 2-aminoterephthalic acid (2-ATA)/nitroterephthalic (NTPA), adopted with different coordination modes. Furthermore, porous crystal enable them be well-suited for applications sensing, which can detect Fe3+, Cr2O72-, TNP, NFT high selectivity sensitivity. This work provides useful information a versatile platform detection environmental contaminants.

ABSTRACT Two new Zn (II) coordination polymers, {[Zn (OBA)(L)]·H 2 O} n ( 1 ) and (TCPA) (L) ]·H ), were synthesized under hydrothermal condition. Here, L = 2‐(1 H ‐imidazol‐1‐yl)methyl)‐5,6‐dimethyl‐1 ‐benzo[ d ]imidazole, OBA 4,4′‐dicarboxydiphenyl ether, TCPA tetrachloroterephthalic acid. Structural analyses revealed that exhibits a 2D hcb topology of {6 3 } while displays four‐connected sql layer with the point symbol {4 4 .6 }. Both are extended to 3D supramolecular frameworks through hydrogen bonding interactions. These CPs demonstrate remarkable thermal chemical stability across wide pH range 12. Notably, they can serve as dual‐functional luminescent sensors for sensitive, selective, recyclable detection nitrofurazone (NFZ)/Cr O 7 2− ions (for pefloxacin (PEF)/Cr in aqueous solutions. The limits (LODs) towards NFZ Cr 2.20 × 10 −7 4.90 mol·L −1 , respectively. For LOD is 5.42 −8 PEF 3.40 ions. It worth noting this first report (II)‐CPs based on ligands sensing NFZ, PEF, And quenching mechanism was deeply investigated.
