Cell cycle progression is tightly controlled by the regulated synthesis and degradation of Cyclins, such as Cyclin A B, which activate CDK1 to trigger mitosis. Mutations affecting regulation are often linked tumorigenesis, making study cyclin mRNA critical for identifying new cancer therapies. In this study, we demonstrate via super-resolution microscopy that

Cells have means to adapt environmental stresses such as temperature fluctuations, toxins, or nutrient availability. Stress responses, being dynamic, extend beyond transcriptional control and encompass post-transcriptional mechanisms allowing for rapid changes in protein synthesis. Previous research has established headcase a fundamental gene stress responses survival of the Drosophila adult progenitor cells (APCs). However, molecular role Headcase remained elusive. Here, we identify component ribonucleoprotein (RNP) granules. We also show that, is required proper RNP granule formation remodeling upon crucial translation control. Likewise, human homolog (HECA) identified granules similar roles translational regulation protection. Thus, proteins define new family contributing specific among heterogeneous network.

Aging is closely associated with imbalanced transcription. Regulated transcription in different organs significantly during aging, indicating that organ-specific transcriptomics critical for understanding this process. Here we analyze the of intestines 3-, 15-, 30-, 40- and 50-days old female flies, which include young, middle-aged, flies. We find differential expression protein-coding genes lncRNAs significant fly age characterized by well-separated gene trajectories. The highly clustered differentially expressed are connected to specific biological processes signalling pathways. In particular, Imd Toll pathways top two immune regulated, members increased pathway span all upstream activating events many ubiquitylation-associated factors regulators NF-κB factor Relish. Increased includes sensing mediators kinds microorganisms multiple proteases proteolytic processing cascade. Moreover, molecular markers intestinal cells greatly changed. Enterocyte most influenced, enteroendocrine AstA NPF, as well stem cell (ISC)/enteroblast (EB) Esg Klu at low levels young flies much higher aged Furthermore, show similar trends clustering patterns those genes. Lastly, ISC/EB-specific knock-down 13 out 19 reduces lifespan fly. Together, newly identified functional aging will provide potential targets preventing disorders.
