This study examines the socio-labor and economic behavior of youth within framework digital society formation, reflecting their life goals value orientations. The research aims to assess student employment trends socio-economic disparities across regions in Kazakhstan. A pilot sociological survey was conducted refine instrument—a questionnaire—through testing among students “Management” “Public Local Administration” at Esil University. final utilized stratified sampling included 1,260 from universities colleges Zhambyl Mangistau regions, ensuring representativeness. Results indicate a gender-balanced sample with slight predominance female respondents (53.4% Zhambyl, 55.9% Mangistau). majority were aged 19-20, smaller proportion over 23 years old. key finding reveals regional differences employment: 60.6% work while studying, compared only 27.2% Mangistau. This study investigates the key factors influencing high school students’ career choices, with a particular focus on financial compensation, professional prestige, and personal development. The primary aim is to understand how these factors, along parental influence available information, shape decisions. Results show that majority of (57.4%) prioritize salary as main motivator, followed by profession’s social prestige (13.2%) development opportunities (12.3%).
