This study highlighted the developments of hybrid photocatalytic system for wastewater treatment in textile industry. Chitosan (Cs) and cobalt (Co) were introduced into conventional catalyst zinc oxide (ZnO) to form photocatalyst beads. Four different weight ratios ZnO/Cs (1:1) ZnO/Co/Cs (1:1:1, 1:2:1 2:1:1) beads synthesized by sol-gel method. The degradation properties investigated under visible light irradiation methylene blue (MB) photodegradation. focused on effect composition ratio, time amount loading photoreactor five hours exposure time. result was that 1:1:1 had highest rate compared other systems. Adding Co improved activity increasing decolourization percentage
