Abstract Teledentistry is an innovative technology that can be used to improve access care and oral health outcomes. Dental students’ intention use teledentistry after completing dental school has not been investigated. Purpose The unified theory of acceptance (UTAUT) was predict intentions among 4th‐year U.S. students. Methods A cross‐sectional approach performed for a 7‐week period in Spring 2019. All schools (N = 66) were invited participate 16 agreed participate. An anonymous survey link emailed academic deans dissemination total 1416 students received the 210 completed (response rate 14.8%). included questions scales measured UTAUT constructs performance expectancy (PE), effort (EE), social influence (SI), facilitating conditions (FC), behavioral (BI). Data analyzed using SPSS version 24. study deemed exempt by institutional review board. Results BI significantly predicted PE ( R 2 33%, P < 0.01), EE 24%, SI FC 14%, 0.01). model statistically significant predicting explained 40% variance .40, Conclusions perceptions about PE, EE, SI, associated with BI. Therefore, exposure while could increase likelihood as practicing provider.

Personal health records (PHRs) are eHealth tools designed to support patient engagement, empowerment, and patient- person-centered care. Endorsement of a PHR by care providers (HCPs) facilitates acceptance. As organizations in the Kingdom Saudi Arabia begin adopt PHRs, understanding perspectives HCPs is important because it can influence adoption. However, no studies evaluated HCPs' acceptance PHRs Arabia. The aim this study was identify predictors using behavioral intention recommend as proxy for adoption. This cross-sectional conducted among (physicians, pharmacists, nurses, technicians, others) utilizing survey based on Unified Theory Acceptance Use Technology.
