Surplus or anti-food waste platforms have emerged as opportunities for restaurants to sell their daily surplus food. However, restaurants' commitment these often diminishes over time, which can result in discontinuance. Hence, it is necessary explain and predict restaurant food platform continuance intentions. For this purpose, we propose a model that integrates the technology acceptance (TAM) self-determination theory. We assessed our by jointly applying partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) condition analysis (NCA) analyze data from 214 using platforms. The findings indicate perceived ease of use, economic motivation, environmental motivation are significant determinants conditions intention. Moreover, comparisons BIC, Akaike weights, CVPAT highlighted model's predictive accuracy was higher than alternative models based solely on TAM.

Abstract Recent research on partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS–SEM) extended the classic importance–performance map analysis (IPMA) by taking results of a necessary condition (NCA) into consideration. By also highlighting conditions, combined (cIPMA) offers tool that enables better prioritization management actions to improve key target construct. In this article, we showcase cIPMA’s main steps when using SmartPLS 4 software. Our illustration draws technology acceptance model (TAM) used in original publication, which features prominently business research.

The increasing commitment to sustainable consumption has intensified the scholarly focus on determinants of environmentally friendly consumer behavior. This investigation provides an insight into intricate interplay between green values, functional (FV), conditional (CV), social (SV), and emotional (EV), their impact buying behavior (BB). Using survey data, we scrutinized mediating roles attitudes toward purchasing products (APGP) receptivity communication (RGC). partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM), empirical analysis yielded a mix supported unsupported claims about mediation effects relationship values Direct FV BB were significant, but indirect effect through APGP was not, suggesting that does not mediate BB, consumers’ value perceptions influence independently products. Both direct EV RGC mediation. results suggest partially do CV SV BB. Comparing these findings with previous research, observe some parallels divergences. Our study confirms significant behavior, consistent studies underscore importance tangible benefits in influencing decisions. Furthermore, our are factors play decisive role behaviors. Purpose This study aims to investigate the impact of sustainable supply chain practices on sustainability performance in North American and Canadian firms a business-to-business (B2B) context, specifically focusing mediating role emerging technologies. It deepen understanding this complex relationship, contributing both theoretical knowledge practical applications. Design/methodology/approach collected data from managers USA Canada using mixed-methods approach that includes partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM), necessary condition analysis (NCA) importance-performance map (IPMA). PLS-SEM was utilized model relationships between practices, technologies performance. NCA identified essential conditions required for performance, while IPMA used assess importance different constructs, helping pinpoint areas where managerial focus can yield most significant improvements. Findings reveals (SSCP) alone do not directly lead enhanced SSCP product design, procurement, investment recovery social sustainability. Sustainability economic, environmental Instead, adopting specific technologies, particularly artificial intelligence, wearable devices virtual reality, is crucial.
