Abstract Background Heart failure and diabetes are comorbidities that disproportionately contribute to high morbidity mortality among Blacks. Further compounding the racial ethnic disparities in COVID-19 health outcomes, Blacks with cardiometabolic diseases at risk of experiencing serious complications or from COVID-19. This study aimed assess how heart navigated chronic care management during pandemic. Methods A mixed methods including in-depth interviews surveys adults diagnosed ( n = 17) was conducted 2021–2022. Verbatim transcripts were analyzed using a thematic analysis approach. Results Participants reported while pandemic initially caused delays access services, shifts telemedicine allowed for continued despite preferences in-person appointments. Various sources information used different ways make decisions on best reduce risks due COVID-19, but individuals institutions affiliated science medicine, who promoted these sources, considered be most trusted those relied outside guidance when making health-related decisions. Individuals’ self-awareness their own high-risk status perceived control over exposure levels virus informed what prevention mitigation strategies people used. Conclusion Information backed by scientific data an important communication tool alongside other factors, such as fear encouraged get vaccinated adopt behaviors.

Целью исследования является анализ стабильности взаимосвязей между ковид-скептическими установками, социально-демографическими и личностными характеристиками в России. Для этого используются материалы двух волн панельного онлайн-опроса «Ценности кризисе» (первая волна — июнь 2020 г., N = 1527; вторая апрель май 2021 1199, повторно опрошенных 978). Сравнительный данных подтверждает устойчивость основных черт ковид-скептицизма. В частности, показано, что ковид-скептики среднем моложе, Имеют более низкий уровень образования, менее привержены базовым ценностями сохранения ценностям открытости. Им чаще свойственны ксенофобия, низкие уровни тревожности институционального доверия. Есть отличия от лета г.: ковид-скептицизм стал проявляться среди людей с меньшим уровнем дохода, а также исчез «отрезвляющий» опыт столкновения болезнью. Дополнительные вопросы, которых не было первой волне, показывают, скептиков характеризуют хорошее здоровье повышенная склонность к конспирологическому мышлению. Благодарность.
