Background Accounting Information Systems (AIS) play a critical role in enhancing organizational efficiency and decision-making processes. Understanding the factors that influence AIS adoption is essential for organizations aiming to optimize their technological capabilities. Objective The objective of this study identify key influencing employees’ behavioral intentions use examine how these affect actual behavior. Methods Employing survey methodology, research collected data on variables. survey, adapted from validated instruments, was distributed sample 366 employees across public private sector Saudi Arabia. SEM used analyze complex relationships among Results results indicate performance expectancy, effort social influence, facilitating conditions all have direct positive impacts intention AIS. Additionally, Behavioral Intention positively influences Use Behavior. Evidence on the use of social media platforms such as WhatsApp and Telegram learning support to enhance students’ performance is scarce in sub-Saharan Africa, where there limited application for learning. Much rarer are studies analyzing determinants using region. We used cross-sectional data from 206 students public universities Nigeria applied econometric frameworks (such Pearson’s correlation multivariate regression analysis) analyze among university Nigeria. identified six constructs Nigerian universities, which include expectancy, effort influence, institutional political guidance counseling achievements, facilitating conditions. These were acceptable/accepted by students. The age, gender, wealth status parents/guardians, student’s faculty/program, location school, level student school. constraints usage high cost Internet, poor connectivity epileptic/poor power supply charge phones, mistrust, lack structure coherence, irresponsible media. results have significant implications educational institutions, policymakers, stakeholders seeking promote effective mobile technologies.
