Abstract We perform a numerical study on the application of electromagnetic flux heterogeneous network Chialvo neurons represented by ring-star topology. Heterogeneities are realized introducing additive noise modulations both central–peripheral and peripheral–peripheral coupling links in topology not only varying space but also time. Since its original publication in 1978, Lozi’s chaotic map has been thoroughly explored and continues to be. Hundreds of publications have analyzed particular structure applied properties many fields (e.g., improvement physical devices, electrical components such as memristors, cryptography, optimization, evolutionary algorithms, synchronization, control, secure communications, AI with swarm intelligence, chimeras, solitary states, etc.) through algorithms the COLM algorithm (Chaotic Optimization based on Lozi Map), Particle Swarm (PSO), Differential Evolution (DE). In this article, we present a survey dozens articles use aimed at real applications or exploring new directions dynamical systems chimeras states.

We explore numerically how additive Lévy noise influences the spatiotemporal dynamics of a neural network nonlocally coupled FitzHugh–Nagumo oscillators. Without noise, can exhibit various partial or cluster synchronization patterns, such as chimera and solitary states, which also coexist in for certain values control parameters. Our studies show that these structures demonstrate different responses to and, thus, be effectively controlled by varying scale parameter stability index noise. Specifically, introducing multistability mode increase probability observing states while suppressing states. Nonetheless, decreasing enables one diminish effect on amplify it

We explore numerically the impact of additive Gaussian noise on spatiotemporal dynamics ring networks nonlocally coupled chaotic maps. The local network nodes is described by logistic map, Ricker and Henon map. 2D distributions probability observing chimera states are constructed in terms coupling strength intensity for several choices parameters. It shown that range can be widest at a certain optimum level which observed with high large number different realizations randomly distributed initial conditions sources. This phenomenon demonstrates constructive role analogy effects stochastic coherence resonance may referred to as resonance.
