Bubble inclusion in the tribo-pair leads to two-phase fluid lubrication. Upon initial introduction of air bubbles tribo-pair, it can lead instability operational state. A numerical model is formulated by coupling Reynolds equation, bubble dynamics and rotor equation. Various parameters, such as hydrodynamic pressure, carrying capacity, trajectory, equilibrium position, are employed characterize impact interface parameters on entrainment process. The findings reveal that pressure plays a crucial role establishing correlation between velocity fluctuations kinetic parameters. Surface tension predominantly influences within dispersion region, while surface dilatational viscosity affects entire domain. Lower or neglecting trigger larger trajectory. Changes liquid-phase result behavior influenced position effect pressure. Higher gas-phase volume fractions more pronounced reduction fluid-carrying capacity increased system instability.

The formation and extension of the gas pocket in impeller can lead to rapid deterioration or even failure centrifugal pump's two-phase pressurization. It is difficult directly measure characteristic parameters high-speed rotating impeller, such as void fraction, by experimental methods. In this paper, performance pump studied numerical simulation validated experiment. positive pressure gradient at end blade surface main reason why boost high inlet volume fraction (IGVF). As IGVF increases, both length thickness gradually increase. head coefficient has an approximately quadratic relationship with impeller. mechanism model flow established force analysis its downstream single bubble channel. effectively predict position simulation.
