Light-actuated microbots have been studied as a viable tool for interacting with micro/nano environments. Considering their applicability to wide range of biomedical applications, novel designs, fabrication techniques, and control methodologies are being developed. Especially, micro/nanoscale three-dimensional techniques opened many possibilities developing complex geometries using resins materials. Here, we developed that can be actuated tightly focused laser beams used in targeted drug delivery, cell poking, characterization studies. These were fabricated batches two-photon polymerization (TPP). Each microbot utilizes deposited metal layer inside its body manipulate convective microfluidic flows. Additionally, micro-sized end effectors allow them make measurable physical contact biological objects. Their expected performance was evaluated numerical simulations the use multiphysics software. Furthermore, laser-induced loading unloading cargo show capability vitro applications.
