Objectives : Depression is a major public health concern due to its high prevalence and association with functioning. Ethnic minorities in Western countries are more likely experience economic disadvantage exposure stressors that may put them at higher risk of developing depression. One protective factor associated reduced depressive symptoms an existing support network.
