Conventional soil-tool interaction has been upgraded to straw-soil-tool due plenty of straw remains in the field after harvesting. Understanding relationship and quantifying movement distribution characteristics at various tillage operation parameters is critical for management design tools. Here, order investigate interactive effects key on displacement burial straw, a specific test rig was developed perform test. According singe-factor multifactor experiment, we investigated effect length, depth rotary speed movement, established mathematical model between movement. The results showed that significant influence as follows: depth, speed. As determined by response surface analysis, optimal combination incorporation length 5 cm, 13 320 rpm, corresponding rate were 95.5% 27.6 respectively. relative errors optimization are less than 5%. These indicated can be used predict evaluate Therefore, it feasible enhance performance reasonable setting parameters, which may provide comprehensive strategy improve working quality

This paper presents the development of empirical mathematical models draught force, Fx, and vertical Fy, acting on duckfoots attached to tines with different stiffness working in various soil conditions. The consider technical variables such as stiffness, k, tool depth-to-width ratio, d/w, movement speed, v, moisture content, MC, which have not been thoroughly analysed literature. correlation coefficients for predicting Fx Fy values were 0.4996 0.6227, respectively. Statistical analysis confirmed significant effect these parameters forces tools, d/w v having most critical impact Fy. SLSQP (sequential least squares programming) optimisation method was used determine optimal variables. maximum value 438.55 N, minimum 98.98 variable at edges studied ranges. Similarly, 135.25 N −84.55 respectively, obtained. results showed good fitness experimental results, negative relative errors (from −1.72% do −4.81%), indicating overestimating, accuracy model’s predictions. justification research allowed us conclude that there is no basis rejecting explanatory hypotheses. developed a generalisable ranges, further should focus creating more universal, theoretical soil–tool interactions.

Vegetable production plays a vital role in ensuring food security Bangladesh. However, the majority of vegetable seedlings are currently transplanted manually, which is not only time-consuming but also labor-intensive and costly. In this context, semi-automated transplanter can be considered as an alternative solution for mechanized seedling transplanting. To mechanize operations, two types transplanters were designed, fabricated tested: power tiller-operated semi-automatic dibbler (DVS) furrow opener (FVS) transplanter. The goal was to evaluate their performance impact on field crop productivity. DVS design, larger sprocket adjusted enhance precision hole-making by pressing into soil, creating holes where would transplanted. On other hand, FVS utilized create furrows, placed these at specific distance from wall, between within could based requirements crop. results evaluation indicated that both successfully planted without any missing placements, while hole covering achieved 115 118.2% transplanters, respectively. capacity efficiency determined 0.05 ha h-1 61.18%, respectively, with coefficient variation 5% or less. Field tests conducted brinjal crops forward speed 1.2 km spacing 0.7 × 0.6 m demonstrated designs yielded higher yield productivity compared manual transplantation. Additionally, no issues related vegetative development observed. Both exhibited promising significant potential terms accurately transplanting seedlings, satisfactory transplantation quality. Furthermore, offer several advantages, including less time-consuming, lower labor demands even distribution seedlings. This design encourages small medium-level farmers seeking engage farming practices.

By exploring influence trenchers planting depth seedlings during horizontal transplantation, it was determined that influencing factors experiment were wing spacing, reflux height, length. Based DEM-FMBD coupling platform, single factor, quadratic rotation orthogonal experiments carried out. According results test, effect interaction test attitude analyzed response surface method. Finally, optimal structural parameter combination obtained multi-objective optimization method: spacing wings 58 mm, height backflow port 71 length 163 mm; thus, is improved effectively. The performance of the no-till seeder is one most important factors that affect success no-tillage. Striking right balance between furrow opener design and residue cover essential for optimizing seeding conditions ensuring sustainable agricultural practices promote both soil conservation high-yield crop production. This study investigates impact on no-tillage maize after wheat harvest, focusing plant spacing, depth, mean emergence time, percent emergence. Trials with hoe-type double-disc-type openers, accompanied by plain- or ripple-disc-type coulters, were conducted in Antalya, Turkey. results indicate had no significant effect but a higher increased spacing variation. depth trials remained consistent, while openers showed lower depths 80% 90% covers. percentage time decreased as trials. At cover, PE to 60%. disc coulters was limited, they MET openers. These findings can help optimize management improved efficiency farming systems.
