Plastics can be found in all ecosystems across the globe. This type of environmental pollution is important, even if its impact not fully understood. The presence small plastic particles at micro- and nanoscales growing concern, but nanoplastic has yet been observed natural samples. In this study, we examined four size fractions (meso-, large micro-, nanoplastics) debris collected North Atlantic subtropical gyre. To obtain portion, isolated colloidal fraction seawater.
