One limitation of the literature on gun ownership is a lack consensus regarding how to operationalize dependent variable. Consequently, measures vary widely across studies, and findings about prevalence predictors are inconsistent. In current study, we endeavor develop an empirically supported, standard measure ownership. Discrimination based on gender identity is unjust and wreaks havoc individuals’ lives. Nonbinary Americans report experiencing extensive daily experiences with discriminatory events.
