The plant microbiome, found in the rhizosphere, phyllosphere, and endosphere, is essential for nutrient acquisition, stress tolerance, overall health of plants. This review aims to update our knowledge critically discuss diversity functional roles rice as well microbiome engineering strategies enhance biofertilization resilience.
